French Village on Lisburn is currently owned by Stadium Projects as a social enterprise. Any profits made through French Village goes directly into projects run by Stadium Projects.

Stadium projects began in September 1989 in the old Stadium cinema on the corner of Shankill Road and Tennant Street. Since Stadium projects began it has been involved in youth and community work throughout north and west Belfast.

It's pioneer programme Higher Force Challenge works with young men "at risk" encouraging and challenging them to live a better life challenging mindsets and changing lives. Higher Force Challenge works on the front line dealing directly with drug and alcohol abuse as well as bigotry and racism etc. Many young men who have been through the programme have changed their mindsets and gone on to full time education, employment and even developing their own business.

Stadium projects is now well established as a major youth and community organisation continuing to reach out to the communities of north and west Belfast and has even received awards through Better Ireland Ireland awards and has been represented in Jerusalem at an international youth conference.

Through it various youth clubs, drop in, playgroup, and various projects Stadium Projects continues to help engage the community and strives to help move the community forward out of poor education, low unemployment and away from high suicide rates.
